Youth sports training ranges from fundamental drills to more advanced techniques depending on age and experience. Sports specific training is taught by trainers/coaches with experience at the professional, college (Division 1, 2 & 3) and high school levels. Power Athletics has the best youth sports training programs in the area. We have programs for middle school and high school youth athletes in every sport. Take your game to the next level!
SPEED AND AGILITY
At Power Athletics, our drills and equipment are designed to strengthen fast-twitch muscles in order to maximize acceleration, deceleration, and change of direction. We teach youth athletes the proper way to run, jump, land and cut. Additionally, our trainers will teach correct stretching techniques to increase flexibility and decrease chance of injury. Your child will gain a new sense of mental toughness, work ethic, and confidence while optimizing their athletic ability in a fun, competitive and safe environment.
FOOTBALL SPECIFIC TRAINING
Power Athletics football specific training will help local athletes explosively advance their football skills while working with instructors who have played and coached at high school, college and professional levels. Our football specific training is open to football players of all levels and all ages. We train athletes from St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Aurora, Elgin, West Chicago and other western suburbs.
Introductory Weight Lifting
Our weight lifting program is a customized strength training program for young athletes that addresses every muscle group in the body. Depending on the sport the youth plays, we will focus on particular areas of the body. We will also zone in on smaller muscle areas as well to build strength. Our weight lifting program is designed for those 12 years of age and older, however we work with all skill levels from beginner to advance. Our goal is to help every youth in every sport maximize their game.
Speed/Agility Classes: (Ages 6 and up)
Monday - Thursday 4pm-7:30pm
Friday & Saturday: 10am-2pm
